Invoicing - It's difficult or impossible to delete an invoice, change a sender's info, or otherwise update the invoice. The first year I was told it was because I tried to file too early after receiving an email that I was eligible to file. This saves time because I don't have to input tax information by hand however, the import functionality has not worked for at least two years in a row. Sending tax info to TurboTax - The main reason I subscribe to Quickbooks is that it makes it keeps track of tax information that may be imported into TurboTax. Furthermore, the app is difficult to use in the following areas: I dislike the inability to transport data into Turbotax - This function routinely fails, and the resolution is to enter the info by hand, negating the app's main functionality. There is support and I enjoy using QuickBooks as I can choose my markups and gross profits according to each product in my inventory and have a history of this and stock control. Accountants can also set up tax reports and generate these all within one versitile software. Their is a strong sense of security involved with each user and access to various aspects can be limited. Their is also a multiple user mode which allows more than one person to work on the system allowing the department's to interact. The fact that I can receive payments, send invoices and estimates, have my debtor's in control with their information, have my stock with the correct invoices and codes entered into the system not forgetting my supplier base and all my reports and age analysis can be generated. I love the fact that I can have a primary and secondary company open at the same time.

Quickbooks is an excellent software as it can be integrated with excel, word, pdf and other formats. Lastly, I was at a $150M revenue company, and it was incredibly difficult to migrate from QB Desktop to QB Online. This is coming from someone who has worked with offshore teams often and enjoys working with those teams for back-office support.
I refuse to support companies now that have outsourced their customer service and have forgotten about taking care of a primary source of their revenue, small businesses.
I have now been with Xero for 6 months and fully support other CPAs and bookkeepers using them over QB due to my fantastic customer service with their support team. I wrote feedback to the QB team twice and received no response - Just an automated "thanks for your feedback" As a CPA that has worked with Netsuite, SAP, Intacct, Quickbooks, and Xero -> This is by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced After 1.5 hours on QB chat, they found my charge but still couldn't help me login Charged me even though I could not login Promised a refund and never processed it Summary: The worst customer service I have ever experienced.
